Introducing Conference Day Passes

Want to attend the SPARK Conference, but can’t make both days of events? We’ve got you covered!

You can now purchase single day passes to the conference.

Just like the Weekend Pass, the Day Pass grants you access to all of the programming available that day. Day Passes are available for $150 each while Weekend Passes are $225.

Another perk of your Weekend Pass: access to the festival film screenings. Weekend Pass holders will be able to check out the film festival portion of SPARK by presenting their pass at the festival box office. Admittance will be via standby line and for busy screenings, priority will be given to pass holders.

Weekend Pass holders wanting to attend the film screenings on Friday, October 26 can pick-up their passes at the will-call desk at Vancity Theatre (1181 Seymour St. (@ Davie)) beginning at 6PM.

Note that only Weekend Passes (NOT Day Passes) will be valid for the film screenings. Pass access is NOT VALID for the SPARK Animation Celebration on Thursday, October 25.

Both Weekend and Day passes are now on sale.

Introducing Conference Single Tickets

Want to take your kids, best friend or sibling to see the presentation on Incredibles or Trollhunters? Now you can!

New this year is access to single conference presentations. Each single ticket is $30 and will only be available at the venue, on the day of the presentation. Single tickets are being sold on a Rush basis, meaning they will vary in availability from presentation to presentation.

Single tickets will be available via cash and credit at the venue.

Second Track of Conference Presentations Added

You read right! We’re pleased to announce a second track of programming has been added to this year’s Conference line-up.

In addition to the previously announced presentations on everything from the upcoming animated Spider-Man movie to the beloved long-running cult-classic Robot Chicken, we’re pleased to introduce Track 2 programming!

Presentations in the second track include director talks with the filmmakers behind festival films Another Day of Life, Funan and The Moon in the Hidden Woods where you will have the opportunity to interact with the directors and ask your burning questions, as well as practical presentations for filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers on everything from how to fund a short film to planning a festival strategy.

Track 2 of the conference is free and open to the public but space is limited and priority will be given to conference pass holders.
