SPARK Festival Heads to Science World

We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Science World to share some amazing animation!

Starting tomorrow, SPARK will be taking over the Science Theatre with two screenings of Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero. Directed by Richard Lanni, this is the retelling of the real-life adventures of Army Pvt. Robert Conroy and his adopted stray, a stump-tailed terrier named Stubby.

This heartwarming tale of friendship and camaraderie stars the voice talents of Logan Lerman, Helena Bonham Carter and Gérard Depardieu.

Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero will be screening on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 at 4:30PM.

Also starting Saturday and through the week until Sunday, October 28, two collections of short films will be screening at the venue. Not Just for Kids, Vol. 1 & 2 are a collection of short films specifically curated for Science World.

This is your only opportunity to see some amazing short films including Simone Giampaolo and Francesco Mazza’s lovely Lynx & Birds as well as Eric Darnell’s (Madagascar films) latest short Crow: The Legend which stars the voice talents of John Legend, Oprah Winfrey, Diego Luna, Tye Sheridan and Constance Wu.

All SPARK screenings at Science World are included with regular price of admission.

BONUS: Flash your pass and get in free! Weekend Pass holders can access Science World free of charge on Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday Oct. 28. Admission does not include the Pixar Exhibition; there is an $8 charge for access to this exhibit.
