Refresh Your VFX Reel
Are you preparing your first VFX reel or need to refresh the reel you already have?
On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Image Engine (101 West 5th Ave), the Visual Effects Society Vancouver is hosting an event with VFX supervisor Marshall Krasser and recruiter Cassandra Nelson outlining the do’s and don’t of creating a wowing reel.
The event, moderated by Dennis Hoffman, is free but space is very limited. To register, email the VES directly.

John Musker Masterclass Now on Sale

Tickets are now on sale for the day-long masterclass with John Musker taking place Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Emily Carr University, Reliance Theatre.
A 40-year-veteran of Walt Disney Animation Studios, John Musker has done it all. Writer, producer, character animator and director, he is credited with two of the most notable Disney films of the 1990s: The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. In 2016, he wrote and directed Moana which went on to be nominated for two Academy Awards.
Tickets are now on sale for $125, and $112.50 for groups of 5 or more.
