FREE EVENT: The VFX of Catch-22 is tomorrow!
The latest adaptation of Joseph Heller’s best-selling novel, Catch-22 comes to us from executive producer, director and star George Clooney, but the movie star credentials didn’t buy Clooney and his team much in the way of extra time (or money), and it landed on the team at DNEG to deliver six episodes of movie-quality effects on the budget and schedule of television.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 7:15 pm, join VFX producer Alun Cummins, VFX supervisor Brian Connor, and CG supervisor Gavin Harrison as the trio discuss the different and unique perspectives of each department and how their teams worked together to overcome the obstacles of delivering great visual effects with limited time and resources.
Attendees will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win the Foundry’s Production Collective which includes Nuke, Mai and Modo.
Space is limited but there’s still time to secure your spot! Online registration closes at midnight tonight. For additional details and to reserve your spot, visit the event page.
A limited number of rush tickets will be released on a first-come-first-served basis at the venue tomorrow.
